As the New Year approaches... and as I return to this world called 'tribe'... I thought that there might be little girl out there who'd like to hear some bedtime stories that would tingle her skin, turn her insides weak, make her whole body blush, and ask her goosebumps to dance. I'd like to tell her things that would turn the butterflies in her stomach into little fairies with magic dust that would make her giggle and laugh and want to make her Daddy happy...

why it's good to have an artsy Daddy.

For those of you who don't know, my Daddy got his degree in art. He's super smart about doing artsy crafty things. This is always perfect for the little girl in me. When I want something or want to do something, he always knows what to do and tells me how to do it.

We make personalized T-shirts, will spend time taking silly "school" pictures of each other, he comes up with knitting ideas, etc.

My latest idea: I need dolly furniture! I want a mini version of our Eames chair for my dollies. I ask him how I can make furniture, and he came up with the idea that I can make pieces out of clay, paper mache over the clay, and then take the clay out and paint the pieces and glue them together. (He said clay is too drying). How smart! I was thinking all sorts of weird things to use. Paper mache is smart.

My dollies will have beeeeeeyooootiful furnitures!

Christmas Time.

I had a GREAT Christmas! I was truly spoiled this year, for real. I got the best gifts. It's funny though, b/c they're all craft or nurse related.
Here's a list of the presents I got:

From Daddy:
1. Creepy Cute Crochet book (He said that now I need to learn how to crochet! So, I went online, learned it and I made me a little mini devil!!)
2. Flower, Star, and Heart shaped cupcake/muffin silicone thingies.
3. 2 things of variegated wool yarn.
4. Kinderpunsch (it's this weird german drink)
5. A knitting board. (kinda like a loom)
6. Then, he said pooh bear had a gift for me upstairs, and he had a Pooh Bear pez dispenser!

From my biomom:
1. lol, nursing support hose. (it's something she's been on me about wearing)
2. bra and undies
3. pink backpack
4. circular and double pointed needle set from knitpicks
5. yarn!
6. a red leathery looking bag, some perfume, and a stain remover that gets rid of blood and stuff.

From my sister in law:
1. hello kitty shirt, hello kitty pocky, hello kitty tissues
2. 4 stethoscope warmers
3. a snazzy pen

I got a bunch of other gifts too, but those were the ones I thought you would like.

my daddy (rl) is a treeplanter. actually he's the supervisor of all tree planting.

when i was little he used to take me to the nursery to see all the baby trees growing up strong so they could be planted whenever they cut the other ones down.

what an awesome job!!

clearcutting isn't bad, it's better cause then the baby trees grow better. if you leave a few big trees around they'll take all the water from the new baby trees and the forest won't grow so well.

Christmas Lights

I know it's still early, but I have ants in my pants and can't wait for Christmas lights and decorations to come out! I want pretty stuff to look at during my drive home! There is one shopping center we pass that has the big garland designs out on the light posts, and I am ready for more to follow!
It was 27 degrees at my house Monday night! Brrrr for California! I hope to see a lil snow. I am ready to start decorating my house. My first Christmas in my house!!! The first year the Mohawk "understands" presents and Santa.
Ahhhh! Exciting!

BEST BEST BEST!!!

umm i had the best christmas themed night ever
first i went to the life sized Gingerbread house in the Fairmont hotel..the house even had nerds rope on it! it smelled so good and they had pretty trees up with big gifts and shiny bows--none of them were for me.

then i walked around macys holiday lane and looked at all the ordainments and snow globes. then rode the elevator down with taylor florance and his wife/kid.

and went to sit next to the big tree in union sq and watch all the ice skaters too.

oh oh and saw the macys windows with puppie and kittens
oh and and and i had a big egg nog latte and wore my super soft new cashmere scarf (it is oatmeal colored)

oh and duh i forgot to tell you guys duh I also picked up my new glasses!!!!!!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye, the tickle monster is afoot. He attacks little girls and makes them squeal. Rather, he inhibits their Daddies and make HIM attack the little girls and makes them squeal. Ways to get rid of the tickle monster? Give Daddy a smoosh and he goes away, but don't ever mention his name (Ramon) or he'll come back.

I can't ever get away without saying his name, though, b/c Daddy's always like, "Why are you so giggly?" and when I tell him I've been tickled, he denies it and keeps asking me who did it.

Footie Pajamas

Few days ago, my mommy got me a surprise - an early christmas present actaully. =D It is an adorable and very soft tinkerbell pajamas (in bright yellow and green color). Also last week, she got me a princess santa hat as well hehe. Pictures of me in those are up in my album now.

Today, Daddy and I took the two new dogs to the Vet for the spay/neuter thing.

Cougar tried to bite the Vet but the Vet was quick and put the smack down on Cougar. He pinned her to the table and she was so mad she peed on herself.

The Vet office called later to tell me that the doggos are doing well. We pick them up tomorrow.

Awesome Day!!

Our clinicals were cancelled this week, so we had like fake clinicals at school. We were supposed to insert an NG (feeding tube that goes through the nose into the stomach) tube into a dummy's stomach. All of a sudden, my friend raises her hand and says, "I'll volunteer to have one put in me!" Everyone gives her the biggest shocked look ever. She said she needed to smoke first, so I went outside with her and she said, " You're the only person I trust to do it. So you're gonna do it."

AND I DID!!!!!!!! It was awesome. I was all nervous and scared and it got caught at one point and I stopped and she started saying, "KEEP PUSHING IT IN!! KEEP PUSHING IT IN!!!" and just grabbed it and shoved it in herself. It was a totally brave thing to do. I was in amazement. Also, I got a huge adrenaline rush from doing it and I felt all giddy and shaky afterwards. Crazy.

Update on my recovery

Hi! =)
Just thought to have a quick update. I am 2 months post op now, and I am doing so well with my recovery/healing progress. It look great and I am really happy with the results. About 95% of the swelling have disappeared! Yay! No major complications - whew!
I can able to sit, walk, even run without any pain at all. =D Even I got tickled and moved around alot and it doesn't hurt at all. hehe
Today, I feel very pretty and little girlish. So I am wearing my overalls (first time wear that post-op), pink tshirt, rainbow necklace (my favorite necklace), and pink butterfly earrings, and bright yellow burnettes (sp?). *giggle* I took picture of me and it's up in my album (also set as my main photo too).

someone to love for the holidays

My friend Debbi asked me to help a friend of hers out. Her friend and her family just lost their place to live. Another family wounded by corporate greed. They have to give up their dogs for a while so they can find a place to live.

I asked Daddy if we could help and he said yes. That means we are going to foster two little doggies for the holidays.

I am excited for us and sad for the family. I hope that they can recover from this financial crisis and get their family reunited soon. I know if I had to give up my dogs I would be heartbroken.

Please Santa, fix this economy for my Winter gift.

Alpha Dog, that's Daddy and me. (sorta)

The two new dogs are settling down. Sid isn't as big of a crybaby as he was when we first got him. Cougar is happy and has the potential to be a very loving dog. We are still working on the potty training issues. They were stressed out doggies when we got them.

I am getting more sleep. I had to stay up with the two new ones because Sid would cry all night long. I slept on the couch so that I could reprimand Sid when he started to whine. Now Sid is calming down and almost sleeps through the night. I can sleep in my own bed. Yay!

Another good thing is that they recognize their names and understand what "cookie" means. Greedy babies. LOL

So lots of yucky things are happening to people. My friend was waiting for me at work. She was crying something awful. Her youngest son's best friend died yesterday. He was eighteen. She felt terrible because she scolded him the other day. She felt like a bad person.

I said she wasn't. I know she is one of the most giving and loving person I know. As a mother, she has constantly gone to bat for her sons. Her youngest is a troublemaker but she never gave up on him. When the tragedy stuck, her sons came home to her for comfort and guidance.

His death was beyond her control. However, the celebration of his life is something her family can do.

Remember to tell someone you love them.

Bubble baths!

Yep yep, I love bubbles baths and I miss them so much! I had it last night after almost 2 months, no bubble baths. =( Not allowed due to my surgery but it was all healed up (mostly) so I did have first bubble bath as a fully girl last night and I had fun! =) I use baby ones and it's milder abd it smells nice hehe.
Also, I have bath crayons to play with! It was fun! I doodled all over on the wall by the tub and best of all, my mommy don't get mad at me... *giggles* =)

misses stuff

mostly what i miss is calling him Daddy. I'd say I miss him being my Daddy but I am not sure he was, I just miss thinking of him that way.
On the plus side, I am cooking more and doing more crap for myself that he complained about, like making those boring calls to the health insurance people or whatever.
I want to say I'm proud of myself and junk, but it's not that I didn't do this stuff before, it was just more fun to do it when i was doing it because of his stern reminder I guess.
Whatev.
Work, be a mommy, clean the house, pay bills, be serious, then sneak a teensy bit of time onto tribe so I can visit my favorite friends (which only reminds me of how boring stuff is for me now without this in my life as often as possible).

Trouble.

I came home yesterday and Daddy had to take the truck while I was at school, which is what I normally drive. I had to take the car, and he as stuck with the truck. When I got home, he was very very angry. The truck was messy and he had to clean it and it was very bad and my bathroom was messy. He said he was furious and to give him a while to calm down. I did some studying and when I came downstairs to get a drink of water, he told me I had to sit at the table and drink it and that from now on, food and drink is only to be done in the kitchen and that he is going to make sure I start behaving like a civilized young lady. (hehe on that part)

Trick or Treat

Did everyone have a good Halloween? I heard about littleb and the pushy guy at the party she went to. Mine was great walking the Mohawk around our neighborhood. One neighbor got really into it and put up a neat haunted house that we walked through. I really wanted to hand out candy, but we spent a lot of time out trick or treating ourselves so I set up our pumpkins and a huge bowl of candy at the bottom of our STEEP driveway for easy access.
I also went to the local Halloween Party at the Historical Rock Inn and watched the weird locals in their costumes. There are some eccentric funky people up here and I love it. Costume Contest winner was Officer Dangle from Reno 911.

Dress Up Day

Soooo...since i'm the reporter girl, i need to know who is wearing what on halloween this year.

just in case i see you trick o treating i'll know it's you even if i don't recognize you.

i bought a tight black hoodie sweatshirt that i'm gonna wear BACKWARDS!! and i'm gonna cut two holes in the hood where my eyes go. (so i can see)

then i'm gonna glue on a bunch of those half cups you get outta candy/toy machines as eyes and go as a girl spider.

and i'm gonna sew 3 stuffed black arms under my real arms and string them together so when i hold my hands up the fake 'spider legs' come up too!

Then i'm going to wear a tight black skirt and black and white stripey leggings and stillettos so high that i'll almost be as tall as a daddy.

Atlanta

So, I went to the Blythe Convention in Atlanta yesterday. It was loads of fun. Um, all the women there act like littles and I'm pretty sure a lot are, even if they just don't realize it. Some of them were kind of inconsiderate, though. The place was jam-packed and rather small and they'd bump into you and not even apologize or push you out of the way, or not move when you needed to get through. Also, it was dollies everywhere!!! I learned that I'm way more protective of my dollies than other people are. They stayed with me or in my car the whole time. Other people just had theirs out and people would pick them up and sometimes drop them and stuff and it just seemed so trusting, especially since a lot of these were ones that are way more expensive than mine are. Some people had the original Kenner Blythes and left them out and stuff for people to look at. I think that's great, but I'd just be too afraid someone would steal/break one of my girls.

Also, I felt kinda guilty, b/c I have been all tired n stuff for school, so I didn't really dress my dolls up and I only took Appolonia and Astrid. When I got there and saw that everyone brought all of their dolls, I felt bad that I left Gretal, Autumn, and Suicide (Daddy helped me name her today!! she's the one I've been customizing) at home. I got 6 new outfits, a bunch of miniature stuff for them to have, free sewing patterns, and a bunch of little buttons. I also won the raffle twice! I got an address book, and a hiblythe app for my iphone. :)

I went to IKEA this morning and I got a BIG hippo to sleep with at night, a mini hippo, elephant, and crocodile, some storage cubes for my blythe stuff, and a daisy ice mold.

My mom and I also went antiquing and saw something funny. I took a picture of it. I'll post it so you can get some giggles.

Went to Davis, CA

Went up to Davis Sunday morning with my kid. We stopped at McD's to get breakfast.
We bought our dogs with us, so Rusty and Xuxa were fussing because we didn't share
much of our breakfast with them. So I said we would get them hamburgers on the
way back home.

On the way back home to the City, I pulled off the highway but I overshot Burger King
and Xuxa started howling. I kid you not, she started this high pitched keening
that didn't stop until I got the car turned around and pulled into Burger King.

Like kids, dogs won't let you forget a promise.

I am doing better slowly everyday since the surgery and as today (Friday) I am 11 days post-op! =) Still bit sore down there and all but I am still recovering and still good progress! I am happy with everything overall! =) I <3 to be complete girl!

NEED HELP w a GAME!

soooo. my family is going houseboating this weekend and my niece is gonna be there without her step sister. Which means i have her all to myself. We play really well together cause we're both around the same age.... but this trip i want to think of a really fun game.

heres what i was thinkin. i do need some more ideas though.

1. we're Princesses for the whole trip.
2. we have to save the Prince from the evil dragon who took him hostage
3. we have crowns (already bought) that will turn us invisible when we wear them and capes to make us pretend fly.

but i need to think of some relevant fun little kids games (indoor and outdoor) that are like steps to rescue the Prince.

like coloring a bridge that we have to cross...or dressing up for a party in disguise to fool the caretaker.

ideas? :)) love to hear them!

Cheekwood!

It's all fall-y out right now and Daddy said we can go to Cheekwood, which is an art museum and botanical garden. They have a special scarecrow exhibit thing in the gardens and an exhibit on American painters inside. woo hoo! It should be something fun and fall like to do b/c the weather is PERFECT!!! (For once, we've had like a solid month of rain now.)

Most of you knew that I will be away for a while for my sex reassignment surgery. I am leaving tomorrow to fly to Montreal. I am excited since it'll be my first time there and will look around a lot this weekend along with my bio mom and sister there before my surgery on Monday. I am really nervous too but I am sure I will be all right. Of course, I can't be on here for a while and but I will be back on here soon before you know it =) and keep everyone posted about my recovery progress.

Okay, I'm back. I feel rested n whatnot. I know I wasn't gone long, but it was much needed.

What's new?

School is a very busy place, but I'm learning TONS of info every day. You do 1 semester's worth of college work within 1-2 weeks at a time. It's fast paced, but exciting and keeps me on my toes. Lots of interesting people in my class. I'm still working here and there and I don't get to see Daddy as much. In fact, last week, I only saw him an hour. I had this week off of work, so I saw him more, but shoot, still not as much as before.

I've realized that with all the stress of school and work and just being too plain busy that I need to be able to have a place to talk to the people who can understand me. Also, you guys are the only people who will let me tell stories about work/school and not go "EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW" or "That's so sad! Why did you tell me that??" (I love you guys!)

Daddy took me to Target and I saw another Little there. We talked about stuff.

But I got sick because it was the day after surgery for me and I had to go home and lie down. I have to stay home because I got the shakes from going outside too soon.

The nice thing was that the Dr sent me flowers and a note wishing me a speedy recovery.

My birthday! =)

Yep today's my birthday! =) I turn 26...ugh but I pretend I turn to 6 years old! =) teehee! My mommy made me breakfast in the bed (pancakes with orange kool aid drink!). Then I slip in my "birthday" cute plaid dress today, then I went down to open the presents that my mommy gave to me. I got stuffed adorable kitten (can't decide to name her yet), 2 figuries (one was love angelic figurine, and other was 6 years old girl figurine with gold "6" on it), few soft pajamas pants! =) She is going to make fudge marble cake with chocolate frosting! Yummy =) Later tonight, we will go out for dinner (Earl's resturant) and go out for movies too (Final Destination 4... I always want to see it). I am spoiled, I know....teehee *giggles*

My Dream

I got really weird little girl related dream for first time ever... or as far I can remember.

It started out when I came to a townhouse (not familiar with that) and apparently I live there, then couple of LGs was there greet me and asked me to come up in the living room to play the game. Then I went to my bedroom to change into my cute pajamas, then went to living room then I saw bunch of LGs around the living room then watching TV and playing game. No idea what game it is...lol. It just pretty much as if all bunch of us altogether in 1 place in person... ya know instead of online and have more fun. Then while playing a game, one LG start to write on the paper to explain to me whats going on for game and look like everyone knew I am deaf and doesn't make me feel left out and we often giggle alot when I teach some of sign language. I know this will never come true but it's interesting to share this. I usually don't tell people my dreams because my dreams often being bizarre and very weird and sometimes I can't explain why but this one is an exempt.

so i thought about you guys friday when i was driving because:

I was driving and getting on a bridge where traffic kind of backs up anyway...but it was extra bad this time. Turns out some stuff fell out of a ruck and was al over the hwy.

It was stuffed animals :( :( it was sooooooooo freaken sad. little bear legs everywhere and stuffing in the air oh man it broke my heart so sad. and it went on forever! bright pink furry fabric.

then the big black bag and i knew it was over wheww. When i got to where i was going I checked the jetter for stuffed animal parts..thank goodness there was nothing there (just some bird poo)

Working in the garden

My daughter and Daddy have been working in the garden every day. We have lots of produce. Carla and I made up bags of groceries and gave it to my brothers on Sunday.

My brother R and Carla made a mini green house for the eggplants. They built it in under ten minutes.

The pumpkins are coming along. It is never very hot in S.F. so the pumpkins are growing very, very slowly.
